the next appointment

mom's next ultrasound appointment was this morning. they were still worried that i might not show up today because of the bloody show scare. they wanted to be always positive like what my grandma's reinforcing, but it was just hard for them because of that.

so when the NP was initially only seeing the gestational sac again, and no me, mom and dad (and i think even the NPs) were getting nervous. i kinda decided to play hide-and-seek, my bad. but after a few more different strobe approach, there i was! i looked like a tiny tadpole with a yolk sac beside me. my heart also flickered fast and nonstop! too bad they couldn't hear it yet. everyone in the room was relieved and delighted. drops of tears were coming out of mom's eyes as soon as she saw me.

based from my measurements, the NP said that i am 6 weeks and 3 days old. but according to them, from LMP and date of conception, i should be 7 weeks and 1 day old. she jokingly said that my parents won't probably be raising a 6-footer anyway. hmmm... i wonder how tall i'd get. the NPs finally congratulated my mom and dad and told us to schedule our last appointment with Dr. S next week.
